This has been a problem for decades. China is in for the long game. Just learn to play a game called 'go' and you will learn about the long game. Everyone should have been really pissed in about 2006 or so. We sold half of the technology the Chinese have to them for nickles. The rest has simply been spirited away one over the shoulder password at a time.
Personally, I wonder if the security data of our government workers was inadvertently handed to someone who simply should have never been trusted. I hope I live long enough to find out.
