I've also read that the number of sightings has dropped quite a bit since everyone has a video recorder in their pocket. I don't know if it is because people are less likely to generate a hoax or if it is because people know without evidence they will never be believed these days. Video or it didn't happen as the kids say.
Blog update
I have already posted more posts on this blog in this month, 2019-05, than in all of 2018. I'm back baby!
The photos in the previous post are not placed properly. I'm not going to bather fixing it. I'm going to move on.
I know most of the posts are links without much commentary. I'll throw things up as I can that have more thought put in to them. I am a victim of the social media attention shortening like everyone else. I stopped posting photos here when Google stopped support for the Blogger Android app. It makes it a pain in the ass to share from my phone.

Watch a movie named Gattaca
Gattaca is a film that talks about Eugenics. It is an amazing film about the threat our species faces from the political demands of "Won't someone think of the children?" that make people crazy and do crazy things.
Eugenics is one of those terms that I have been keeping an eye on. I am waiting for the definition and the listings of the history to change over time. At some point it will not be looked on as a bad thing any longer. People seem to lean toward turning all of humanity in to robots one birth at a time. I don't know what is being taught in school differently today than when I was a lad. The sanctity of human life is a mystery. Do people really think they are immune from being selected as an imperfect specimen and eradicated?

One more advantage of knives over guns
Harde to run out of ammo for a knife. They don't bring the respect of a gun though. There are ups and downs for both means of committing crime.

Really tired of 2 tier legal system in this country
This really is how I see things right now. It feels like every member of one side of the political spectrum in the U., S. is simply screaming that the guy trying to name people responsable for attempting to destroy our Republic as the bad guy.
It reminds me of the kid at the playground who would punch you and run to the teacher saying you punched them. How messed up is this? We are supposed to be a nation of laws and it feels to me like no one in our current government believes that they should be held to the same standard as all we pee-ons. It makes me ill every time I think about it.

The one who owns money ones everything
My predictions:
- Cryptocurrency gains in popularity
- Every municipality that bans it gets higher adoption numbers than those that do not
- A few places adopt something along this line as a default curacy and thrive
- The minute a large country adopts a cryptocurrency someone hacks it
- The country desperately tries to recover but assets are owned by someone else
- New people turn up out of the blue offering their leadership and are quickly swept in to office
- They offer their solution to the world
- Many other places adopt the curacy now that there is a 'cure' for the woes of adoption
- Someone other than an elected government now has complete control over every penny spent everywhere
- They can eliminate any single entity to starve at a whim
- They will be able to erase money at a whim
- They will be able to create money at a whim
- No one will be able to buy bread without their say so
- Why are we wasting time on those pesky elections?

Replacing the constituency
What are all those anti-religious elites going to do when those ultra conservative replacements vote them out of office and install their system? They will whine for a bit and when anything resembling freedom of speech goes out the window. I'm trying to think of the sign you can look for that will signal the end of the transition, but silence of opposition is the only thing that comes to mind.

Nothing really struck me as needing to be published today. No one is reading this blog anyway so no big loss. I did add a bunch of stories to my Evernote. More of the same. And lots of it.

Lots of things coming to the light lately
I'm really hoping this leads to more incidences of rich people not getting away with things that normal people like myself would get the book thrown at us over. I'm getting tired of the double standard in this country. I don't care who you are. I don't care who sent you. I don't care what color your skin is or what equipment is between your legs. We all obey the same rules. That is what I care about.
The state is god in China
time after time China has told people to worship the state and do not worship their gods. They are going after the first commandment that says "Thou shalt worship no god before me." They want it wiped from the bibles and not spoken about.
People don't understand that just encrypting things that go across the nods of the network will not be enough to stop snooping. At some point China will control the encryption too. They are the cheapest way of doing everythi8ng? They Will win all the contracts. They will be the ones installing and maintaining the encryption equipment too.

What are the rights?
Apparently the charges are saying he is in trouble for instruction someone else (Manning) to break in to a secure system or someone else computer. The current charges are not about publishing the information once obtained.
What is the potential penalty and will the next president just pardon this idiot? I wonder if he would have spent less time locked in a small room (The Ecuadorian embassy) if he had just turned himself in in the first place.

Outlaw everything
People will find a way to kill one another. You are going to have to outlaw sticks and balled up fists. Outlaw tire irons and torque wrenches. How about making hurting one another against the law? Oh, wait, that is illegal. If people are not going to follow that law, what makes you think they will follow the other 15 laws you pile on top?
Blood in the water
It is a coup. Well, as yet an attempted Coup. Some very powerful people need to go to prison over this. Some new rules need to come in place.
Perhaps we need a group of people who vet high level candidates and can pull the plug on thm before they run. That sounds alike a great amount of power in too few hands. It sounds like something that would be misused. You know, like the FBI and CIA have been.
It cracks me up how these people are so smug thinking they will just wait until their side is in charge again and be heroes. Something the revolutionaries always forget is their necks are the first stretched across the block either when the new power takes hold or when there efforts fail.
