Remember all the complaining I did a while back about RAID? Well, I had the other side of RAID today. We had a drive die in one of our boxes. I swapped the drive and it rebuilt and went on it's merry way. That is how it should work.
I love the log file entries.
Disk 3 removed serial XXXXX
Disk 3 installed serial XXXXX
Disk 3 Rebuilding
Disk 3 Array rebuild complete.
That is it. This is how it should work. When I have to mess with Grub to get the system to boot up in order to force it to manually rebuild, it is a fail.
