I upgraded from Fedora 9 to Fedora 10 using the DVD. This blog entry is being written directly after the update and so far so good. It has only been like ten minutes. Give it time. It looks like my settings and data are save after the upgrade. Most of my new stuff is in Google Docs, so what good would it have done to break?
The first thing I did of course is a yum update. That updates all the packages possible on the machine. It is still downloading the 213 updates. This is another oprotunity to blow up in my face. Not updating the server until everything has been tested. Ther is just no reason.
