It took me a full ninety minutes to run through my routine of simple stuff.
- Checking email
- Documenting what happened yesterday
- Making sure I documented anything I learned yesterday
- Tracking hours for today, setting up a time outline
- Updating my personal log
- Get a cup of coffee
- Every other damn thing and yadda yadda
I refer to this as getting my shit together for the day. Normally this takes me thirty minutes tops. I'm learning more because of the new position. It is exciting, but time consuming. I didn't leave until something like 18:30 yesterday.
