Nothing gets done

Did you ever wonder why it seems like nothing ever gets done in the Middle East. Well, Dubai is growing leaps and bounds. Oil platforms seem to pop up like weeds, high rise revolving apartments that go for ten million a pop abound. Then there is the rest of the people. They try to make a living. They try to do what needs to be done. They are either set upon by people who want to wipe them off the face of the earth or the conditions they work under are so unbelievably horrible that it is difficult to feel sympathy. Didn't they know? Why do they bother? Well, because they are trying to live.
