Fest Fact
We only went out to TRF on Sunday last weekend. While getting ready to
head out, one of the guys, I think it was Doc or Chris, said something
very profound. He said something like "You know, when we [the guys] all
ware armor, we are ready in half the time than when we ware the other
costumes." He continued that it is because the armor is finite. You
know when it is done. Whit the other cloths, you can keep trying
different things and you will never really find a "complete" uniform. A
frightening point. Frightening, because he is right.
It wasn't me. You can't prove anything.

It was Chris. He also said that you guys end up wearing those outfits (not the armor) because all the women are in lace-up things. That the guys use this slow process of getting dressed to watch the women getting dressed in the lace-up stuff. You also have to keep in mind that when the women are in lace-up stuff, we normally have to get dresses one or two at a time. This depends how many women are out there. Corsets and Bodices take two or three people to (properly) put on. The person wearing it can not properly tighten it on her own. The guys (sometimes) gets the honor of having to adjust the breast, so that they are in the correct spot and showing off the assets nicely. The trick to this is there is a fine line between showing of nicely and showing off nipple. Chris is the resident breast adjuster, and he has been for (at least) the eleven years I have been out there. He has perfected the place and tuck on every type of breast. He is also the one guy out there that all of the women trust. Kelly is new out there.
