Wedding
I went to Chris and Sarah's wedding reception last night. They danced
every dance together (near enough) and they looked so good together. I
envy them a bit. I had a great time. I took a bunch of pictures. Every
one there seemed to enjoy themselves. Every one's eyes are closed. My
camera does a pre-flash thing that gives every one just enough time to
blink before the picture is snapped. Oh, well. I need a real camera.
The one I have at the moment is really for snapshots.

It feels good to have new pictures on the site, even if they are not
the highest quality.
It wasn't me. You can't prove anything.

My disjointed comments:
The pictures weren't as bad as you alluded. It was obvious that you had to sacrifice some of the super-high-quality you get from your camera to make them easy to handle for the user.
The description didn't say how you know these people or their relation to you.
You MUST tell me where the reception was held. It was beautiful.
The bride looked beautiful; very pretty dress, too.
There will never ever be a conga line at my wedding. It will be posted at the door on the way in. Too many chances for someone to trip on the dress.
It's great that you took pictures, but I can't help but think it was at the expense of you really enjoying yourself. You can kick off your shoes and dance with a bridesmaid; they did probably hire a photographer.
Did they do the "camera on every table" thing? That's cute, especially if someone is going to scrapbook them.
Kelly, why the drop in quality? Needs a bit more -- too many pixilated pix. Real good photos though.
And responding the Cynthia, *I* organized the congo line and it was tres cool. I am the one right behind the bride in most of the congoline photos. And yes, I was stepping on her dress most of the time (notice I'm looking down in most of the photos.)
My wife and I are in a lot of the photos (Kelly seemed to like taking pix of us dancing.) Others in the photos are people Kelly plays (played?) DnD with. The bride and groom included.
Thank you for the explanations! I was wondering about how everyone knew each other, both because I'm nosy and because I didn't see a single person I knew in any of them. I felt like a voyeur looking at someone else's wedding photos.
There's nothing wrong with a conga line, as long as I don't have to be at the front of it. I need to have enough control over situations that I can see myself being one of those "bridezilla" types: not wanting anyone to come close to the dress lest they step on it, touch the flowers lest they wilt, or drink too much lest they get wasted and knock something over. :)
