How horrifying would it be if these things were supposed to perform the same kind of invasive gene therapy that was put forth to wipe out mosquitoes? You know the one. Where they release genetically modified male mosquitoes to inject genes in the population to set a time bomb that wipes out the species.
Imagine wiping out domestic farm production of wheet or corn in the U. S.. Terrifying stuff of SciFi nightmares..
