Clie at work
This new Sony
Clea Palm thing is nice, but it is a pain to make it work on two
computers. It kind-of works. You get som duplicate info here and
there. I'll live.
Passwords
Lets see, one NT password; 11 VMS cluster
passwords; one Clarify password; one test account;
all equal one pain in the neck. Those are just the work passwords.
All in the name of security. The trouble with computer security is,
first you design software to work every time. Then you design it to
break some of the time.
The Pond
We have a small pond where I
work. It is highly relaxing to wander around during lunch.
Unfortunately, the pond suffers from
finantle cutbacks. Apparently a pump failed and they draned the
water. Now the company can't afford to fix the troible. The running
joke is "How do you break a pond? Did it sprinf a leak?" I
still come out here to relax Even a dry lifeless lakebead is better
than working. Where did the ducks go?
