Funny how everyone who has purchased a drug in the past decade knew this was going on, but no one was doing anything about it. TV shows have been made. Movies spoke about it. Just look at the prices of medical equipment and drugs and watch the numbers roll upward. Someone finally brought the correct kind of case

So, no one knows what is going on with Brexit

Although I don’t exactly have my finger on the pulse of British politics (apparently I’m hardly alone in that), I do have a theory, which is that not only its Brexit stance but also the extreme and increasing leftism of the Labour Party has turned a lot of people off who might otherwise have supported them. Although political parties in Britain generally lean more to the left than their supposed American counterparts, what’s happening to Labour in Britain may be a similar phenomenon to what appears to be going on with Democrats in the US. The candidates have been so busy getting to the left of each other that they forgot that pleasing their leftist base isn’t quite enough to win more general elections.

I really feel lost on the Brexit thing. I know how I would vote if I had any say in the  matter, but I don't I hear the arguments on both sides. People pro Brexit seem to want to stay a separate independent nation. People are pro Europe want their lives to be easier and more convenient. They both seem to think their side of the argument will bring better opportunity to the young people somehow.

Thoughts?

I think the current generation is going to wind up tougher than people give them credit for. It is going to take some hard knocks, but it will happen. They just might wake up (for real) and decide they have been manipulated by the older generations and rebel against rebellion.

That or they will hand over every single right fought for since Christ was in short pants over without a single shot fired.

I debated not posting this. I do not like posting things that single out Islam. This is such a horrific crime. This is unimaginably damaging to humans it happens to.

We are not wired to accept each other without facial expressions we expect. It is like a verification protocol to send facial expressions back and forth while communicating. We had to add them to text communications in the form of emojis and extra words and descriptions of the situation in order to compete language.

Victims of this crime deserve so much better.

I'm telling you if it weren't important they wouldn't have a blank for it on the applications for school and work. They don't ask you shoe size on most of them because it isn't important.

There is going to be a massive hodge podge of rules everywhere. In every privat organization and in every municipality there are going to be different rules. It will be impossible to tell what is going on or if you are breaking theruls until after the fact.

I'm not sure what to say about this. It sums up some of my fears over what is going on in our government. The stench of corruption and desperation are overwhelming. Has it always been this bad and I just didn't notice it? Has it really gotten worse as I've aged. The old curse "May you live in interesting times." comes to mind.

I fear more than this that we will lose the thing that is bringing all of this to the light. We are losing the internet. The idea of a free and say what you think internet is going poof in front of us. Without citizen journalism, we would have no information on what is really going on in our government. Think about the ideas and feelings and fears that would simply not be allowed to have a place in  production media.

Every government I can think of wants to limit what the citizenry of the world has to say about everything. You can't even complain about a bad experience at a restaurant any more. Eventually, there will be no place left for Joes like me to complain to the universe.

I know people who will not accept  or listen to any argument or prof that mass shootings only happen in the U. S.. They are indoctrinated to refuse to listen to opposing points of view.
