Nord VPN Issues

It looks like Nord VPN started working on split tunneling again. I wonder how long it will last. It seems like logging out and back in helped this time. I may need to try that next time it starts kicking me out of my streaming services.

The symptom is, the Nord VPN program appears to work normally except for the browser that I set to not be affected by the VPN at all. That is split tunneling. You can pick programs to work with the VPN or you can set programs that do NOT work with the VPN and just work off the ISP IP. The latter is the method I use. I set Firefox to not be affected by (not use) the VPN. I then use Brave browser (still under the VPN) for my normal surfing needs and use Firefox for streaming. All the streaming services have tools now that tell them if you are using a VPN and they will fail on purpose. They all have different symptoms. Some won't let you log in and others come right out and tell you to fuck off with your VPN.

For a while now, all my streaming services failed to load at all. I tried changing all kinds of settings and ended up figuring that it was a bug or a deliberate change in Nord VPN. I just switched off the Nord software when I wanted to stream. It was very annoying. I like to run a show in the background while I surf all the blogs and such on a different desktop. I had actually used 2 devices (my phone and the computer) to achieve this for a bit. That got old very quickly.

Today, my login expired on my laptop for Nord VPN and I logged back in. This is normal about every 30 days or whatever. Well, that seems to have fixed my issue. I bet it only works today. Tomorrow, or the next day my symptoms will show back up. I'll try logging out and back in if they do. I'll double check for updates.
