Fairfax County police officer suspended after cooperating with ICE over illegal alien

An officer has been relieved of his duties after contacting ICE when finding an outstanding warrant.

Stop putting politicians in charge of police departments. don't use lawyers either. Honestly, you need farmers. I bet farmers have a grasp of reality you are not aware of.

This might be the one that goes to the supreme court. I've been waiting for firings to happen just to follow the case. I feel bad for the cop and for officers in ICE. They are all doing their job and being ordered in conflicting directions. The fact remains that federal law outweighs local law. That is just how the documents are written.
