What if quantum computing is just telling us what we want to hear

This fact could be the limiting factor of future computing. What if quantum computing is just telling us the answers to questions that have already been answered? That means the idea of using quantum computing to answer as yet unanswered questions would be called in to question. What happens when you through it questions that have not as yet been answered by humans?

So far the math that has been done by quantum computers that I've heard of is all about getting to an answer that has already been proven by people at some point or other. If you really want to test the idea of quantum computing you should feed it questions that have not been answered yet and then figure out if it is giving us the correct ones. Of course this is quite impossible. First you have to learn how to ask the question. If you figure that out, you will probably come up with the answer  on your own.
