Daimler starts testing self-driving trucks on public roads

Daimler's plan for self-driving big rigs just came one step closer to fruition. The automaker has started testing trucks with Level 4

I've already been over this. All automation means no more people. This time it isn't humans getting better tools to be more competitive with other humans. it is machines out performing humans at the human part of the job. No more need for humans, ever.

Eventually the economy the Earth has been running on for generations un told will simply poof. No one will have the ability to buy food. Food that is grown, transported, cooked and prepared by robots. I wonder if communism will finally work with a permanent class of mechanized obedient slaves. Probably not. No one left to starve on mass.
