Not sure they have a choice. There will be rebellion if they don't charge the cops. It would be open season on cops all over the nation. At some point, this is all going to come to a head and martial law will be enacted. Then two things will happen. A lot of people will be killed, and a lot of guns will be confiscated from people who had nothing to do with the riots.

Guess 6 hours a week is too much to ask sometimes.

Here is the one I’ve been waiting for. Calls to nationalize the U. S. police force under one authority and with one goal. Isn’t that also called a military? Oh, wait it is a military that targets only the citizenry of our nation at that point. The idea is to have local policing so you divide agendas and prevent Oh, Nazi-like group oppression and mass murder.
