Blue Roof

I've been trying to come up with a parody song set to the tune Blue Moon entitled Blue Roof. I'm absolutely no good at that sort of thing.

Blue roof.

You left me standing in the rain.
I'm having insurance pain.

There is no electricity.
Sitting home without AC.

In my dark living room.
Hope they hook me up soon.

At least that mean old Ike.
Left me a blue skylight.

Hmmm. Needs some work, I know. Told you I'm no good at it. There is a whole country and western song in there somewhere. Any ideas?
