Google has implemented a set of new rules for its employees, cracking down on political discussion inside the company.

So, Google is adopting rules that other companies like my current company have had in place for a long time. Don't talk politics at work. Don't do shit that disrupts the workplace. Don't deliberately incite a riot. That kind of thing is pretty boilerplate except in the tech world it seems.
