Elle is going to go to a new school. The one she was in just wasn't
teaching her as much as we wanted. It was not structured and the
teachers were mean to the kids. Nat went today with Elle and Bill to
check out a new place. They liked it as far as I can tell. Nat said it
felt more like a school and less like a daycare. Bill has been a saint
and paid for much of Elle's school. I've felt bad recently that he
hasn't been getting good value for his money. The new place will be a
bit more expensive, but far, far better for Elle.
I really have a good feeling about this place. The whole reason we
put Elle in school was to give her a head start. Elle starts tomorrow.
She really enjoyed the orientation. Elle got to play with some of the
kids that will be in her class and already made a friend. Elle is going
to miss splash days, but we just won't mention that for now.
The uniforms cost $3XX. There are some other costs too. We were supposed to look at new tires this month. That pretty much dooms getting Faire tickets. Oh, well. Nat may have a job that at least gets her in the park for a couple hours work. I suppose I just won't go in. Camping will still be fun. Elle is worth it.
