How the One Child Policy in China was so bad. Trying to control things that already work is always a bad idea. The market will sort things out. Through attrition or starvation.

Got a new dash cam. This one is a bit more expensive (more than $20) and has better numbers. I’ll figure out this evening if I can read license plates of the car right in front of our bumper or not this evening.

Was letting the Russians in the ISIS fight a good thing? Did it get them half way off our back? Those are not pleasant thoughts, but perhaps apt.

One more breakdown of the rule of law from the top. College graduates need not apply.

Went to a Chinese restaurant for lunch. We heard Cindy Lauper Girls Just Want to Have Fun. Something special about that.

Fortune cookie from last week said something about coming in to a large financial gain. Today’s said something about receiving a great honer. Sounds good to me.

IRS scandal being punted. I wish some people would go to jail over this. It is treason after all. I will not hold my breath.

Best Weekly All Hands meeting ever. People asked really good questions.
  • When is the company picture?
  • What holiday events do we have planned?
  • Can we do a potluck?
Oh, and we had good numbers on deliveries and dates and such. Blah.

Starting to like Carson. Not that much to be honest. I don’t like his ideas about the economy, though I haven’t heard that many of them.

Old equipment and a shitty economy. Russia is still not JV.

Problems with Chrome/Chromium browser

I’ve been having issues with Chrome browser lately. It appears the issues are across the open source browser as well.

  • Endless scrolling down.
As you scroll down past the end of the content, you can just keep scrolling for a very long time. This is the sort of issue you find that fixes some other larger issue. The same  happens to the right. This is a surprisingly big pain in the ass.
  • Some pages loose their top.
Some pages loose the ability to scroll all the way back up. When I’m on Blogger and I try to schedule a post, it won’t let me go back to the top of the page after setting a time. I have to reload the page and thus lose my schedule setting.
  • Scripting issues
    • Some pages just hang, causing a need to kill all browsers.
    • Bits of some pages are just missing.
  • Media issues. (might be part of script issues)
    • Playback inexplicably stops.
    • If you move the slide bar, you might not get it to continue play at all.

Issues I have with Firefox
  • No “duplicate tab” I didn’t realize how often I use this function.
  • Shitty (Really shitty) high contrast support. I do know how much I depend on this function.

Not too bad a list. These things all sound like issues that can be overcome with testing and proper bug fixing. No one at Google is working on existing code it seems. I don’t know what the company is doing, but it is not putting resources toward their flagship products.

Good luck pushing China in to anything they don’t want to do. I just don’t think this sort of crap will add up to more than an annoyance to China.

The best way for NASA to be allowed to spend their budget on, oh I don’t know, Aeronautics and Space is to disagree with global warming/climate change/greeeeeeenie bullshit.

But, terrorism doesn’t fit the election narrative. This too will slip off Hillary’s back.

External influence cause of crash in Egypt. What does that mean exactly? Was it shot down? Was it bombed? Did someone have too many microwave burritos before the flight? More.

About time Japan joined the party. Things are escalating at a ridiculous rate. I wonder if the Illuminati have finally decided this generation needs a cull.

Wolves at the door. $70 minimum wage company still going, but the Huns are at the gate.

I kind of look forward to this battle. I want to see these two go toe to toe.

It has gotten to the point I expect the FBI to fly surveillance over riots and similar happenings. I would be surprised if they didn’t.

100% chance of rain today and I had to run to the bank at lunch time. I can’t drive so I had to walk. I did not get wet. This rain storm is from a hurricane that hit Mexico. The hurricane thankfully fizzled before landfall. We are getting a bunch of rain, but it really seems that the worst of it goes around us so far. We need rain. There was some street flooding last weekend. There is more rain predicted for tomorrow. The radar looks intimidating. I’ll try to stay dry.

Love it. I've tried to do this in my head, but failed. I wonder if it can judge non-centered shots.

China complaining about that float by from yesterday. “That is our sovereign territory on that rock in the middle of an ocean. I wonder what our reply will be.

No one is going to spend money on a new big bomber unless they are bent over a barrel. I can’t wait until we are dependant on basically one fighter, the F-35, and something is found to be wrong. The normal action in peacetime is to ground that aircraft until an investigation can be done. However, the F-35 is the proverbial basket we are putting all our fighter jets in to. Should make for some religious pilots.

When you start asking for loyalty pledges, you have already been in trouble for a while. China is going through a very tough spot at the moment. I did not know it included a restrictive moral side. It sounds like people already sick of the government’s shit is going to get far more sick of it before the end of this. perhaps, even intolerant.

In this case, ignore = ignorance.
