I’ve been coding all day. Well, I’ve been trying to code all day. It turns out I’m rusty with the code I was playing with. And it turns out some of the folders I depend on have moved all over the place. Sometimes I swear people just change thing to change them.

What is it going to take to get slippery Hillary behind bars? Now she is handing out classified information. Is this the smoking gun that lead to Benghazi? What if this email is the one that kicked off the raid on the compound that got our people killed.

Holly shit. The impending cluster fuck is so bad that they want to smear the blame around. Our government is about to fail and no one want’s to be the pointee of fingers when it does. This really is a tell that martial law or something along that level is coming.

I listened to a Planet Money podcast asking the question “Why are we using signatures for identification?” I love it. I’ve thought this myself. ... First thing up, It was the Jews! It is in the Talmud. No idea if they came up with it. Many hundreds of years ago, it was great because in your head and difficult to steel. Signatures are just not checked by anyone any more. I suppose they could use recognition software to do it, but it is just all shit now. It turns out that credit cards will hold stores responsible for a fraudulent transaction. Chip and pin is far more effective.

Well, someone is actually looking in to the Clinton email scandal. That’s good news. “Not political” my ass.
Russians clearing out their airspace. Gee, it sounds like the Russians are not interested in bullshit. It really sounds like they will soon shot down one of our aircraft (probably a drone) just to provoke a reaction.
I remember blogging about this very thing years ago. The primary thing holding back autonomous cars is liability. it is like they want the courts to figure it out before the technology is allowed to kill people. I think this is also why car ownership is going out the window. You will pay for a service or ala carte for rides instead of owning a car, because whomever made it, or programmed it is going to have to keep responsibility for that vehicle and keeping it road worthy for its entire lifespan.
You know, I could sit there and play with all the photo filters on my phone until the end of time. Fortunately, bodily needs call and stop me from discovering eternity in a still collection of distorted photos.
I knew a girl who was blind in her left eye. Her left front and right rear fenders were repeatedly smashed up. She was a menes. I know someone else who is blind in their left eye. To my knowledge, he has never been in an accident.

Microsoft is advertising their new phones as the most productive phones ever. You can run an entire business from these things. That is just not a selling point to me. I want a phone that my business won’t want to use so they will leave me the frig alone when I’m not at the office. That is already not happening.
Creatures made of liquid would be able to accelerate to the speed of light at whatever rate they could pull off. If we could liquify our bodies we might be able to withstand 1000g and make it to the speed of light in less than a day of acceleration.

Man, I miss the days we got more than 16 hours notification of outages. When I was in IT, we had to give days of advanced notice. It seems like some of the other entities in the company I work for do not live by such a credo.
One more time to not blindly follow your GPS without checking local information. What setting tells me who really controls an area?
At some point, you have to just stop paying everyone else’s bills and start paying your own. He is correct. This will happen in the U. S. in a couple years. Not tens of thousands, millions will show up with their hands out. I don’t mind people coming to my country as long as they have kept their record clean and intend to participate and not just mooch.
I have $8 in my account until the middle of the month. This fact apparently makes me hungry. Today at lunch time I was ravanis and my blood sugar was low. I took the company up on one of the free sodas and walked around the parking garage. I got to the roof and felt faint. My consuming of the sugar had kicked off a reaction in my body. I was seeing trails and stumbling. I made it back to my office and felt fine. It was just a one off thing. Still, my blood sugar should not have been that badly affected. Wil keep an eye on it.
As a side note, the Lord provided. Someone left a bunch of oatmeal in the lunchroom Score!
Europe rarely makes a decision I like. The NSA’s logo should have headphones on with a wire running to every phone in the world.
Continuing the education at work. This time it was on consulting for our company. The 5 hours of education boiled down to communication, know your customer’s need and our solutions, oh, and communication. They could have summed this up in 15 minutes. The rest of the many hours was structure of responsibility and compensation more or less. Some on where to get education. They needed more real world examples, but all that is confidential.

I’m doing some more training videos lately. We have all year to do 40 hours of some kind of learning experience that applies to work. It is interesting. I’m not sure how effective it is. Still, I comply. I have videos playing in the background while I do some other work. Today was analytics and security.The guy talking was a paser. He wondered around stage like a hungry nomad. The camera operator had to chase him. It was funny to watch honestly. I actually watched part of the video. I did notice they cut to a bunch of his slides, more than the other presenters. By the end, they had zoomed out to most of the entire stage.
I almost lost my coffee cup. I have a coffee cup from REI. it doubles as a french press. That feature came in very handy a while ago when the coffee maker went on the fritz in the lunchroom and the one in the back was way over used. I took my cup to the sink to wash it and left it there for a couple hours because I was distracted by free (and good) pumpkin bread.
I heard someone on a podcast call sodas the new smoking. The drinking of sodas is being ostracized much the same way smoking has been over the last several years. Since I listened to this podcast, it has been easier for me to say no to sodas. i just don’t want one. Even when I have a craving for a hit of caffeine, I crave coffee. I guess that is next. They will have us all down to bread and water in no time.
