ring

 I screwed up my ring doorbell (gen 1) to the point it needs a true factory reset. It has the wrong credentials for a wifi network that no longer exists. Anyone know how to fix this without buying a new one? Do they have an exchange plan or something?

I accidently put in the wrong password when trying to change over to a new wifi network. Now the damn thing cannot sign in to a wifi network at all. I can no longer sign in with my account. and there is no way to properly factory reset these things because people would just steel them and factory reset. So, I'm screwed. I would like very much not to have to send it back to the factory. That would be admitting defeat.
