San Francisco Bans Reusable Totes, Returns To Single-Use Bags As Coronavirus Precaution

San Francisco will be returning to single-use bags while temporarily banning reusable totes as a sanitary measure, numerous sources

Someone had some statistics of food poisoning that showed an increase though slight from reusable bags. It only makes sensed. Washing those bags every time you use them uses a lot of energy. The left over plastic is annoying, but itis  cleaner in the long run for people trying  to  avoid infection.
