Reality TV Bullshit

More and more people say they did something stupid in order to win a reality show. Apparently there is a reality channel on cable. I'm glad I do not have cable right now.

A guy on NPR spent a couple weeks or maybe months with a group of homeless people living a few blocks from a stadium somewhere. There were a bunch of crack heads and drug dealers. There were a bunch of people to write about. He wants a reality show.

The family who lied about their kid in the balloon a couple weeks ago were out to get a reality show. I heard the dad will do some time for that one.

The couple who got a bit too close to the president at a function were also trying for a reality show. They thought the had been invited., but were not on the correct list or the person who got them in over stretched their clout.

Perhaps a message needs to be sent to these people. Perhaps some real jail time might make the next batch of idiots who want their face on TV think twice before pushing the envelope of stupidity in the name of look at me.
