NATIONS (AFP) — The UN Security Council failed yet again to agree on a
call for an immediate truce in the worsening fighting in Georgia's
breakaway South Ossetia enclave but agreed to make another attempt
Saturday. |
The UN is worse than useless.The UN sounds like a place to go to
when the chips are down. It is not that place.
The article above means that the UN cannot agree to tell both sides
to stop it. For fuck sake! The bile rises to the back of my throat
every time I hear the term UN these days. I hope this story is old and
the situation has been rectified.
