It wasn't me. You can't prove anything.

Who's rules?

Picture a sports event. One side is playing hockey and the other is playing basketball. They are playing on the same court with each side set up for that team's sport. How do you know who wins the game? You don't. The basketball players would slip on the ice and the hockey players wouldn't have much luck on the wooden floor I bet. Not to mention getting the puck through a basketball hoop using hockey sticks. That is a ridiculous match. It is no match at all. Each side can claim victory without any proof. It might be fun to sit back and complain, but I wouldn't want to be on either team.

That is what's going on between the U. S. and al Quaeda or Radical Islam or whatever you want to call the people who are trying to destroy our way of life and install their own. I've heard it said that all al Quaeda has to do is not be annihilated and they win. That is kind of true. Even if the al Quaeda movement is somehow squashed, there will still be people who want to take over the world in the name of a religion somewhere.

So, how do you defeat an enemy who will not play by the rules? Well, you either play by the rules you have and beat them anyway. That hasn't worked so far. You get them to play by the rules you want to play by. That is not going to happen here. Or, you start playing by their rules. I hope we don't have to resort to that in this fight. No one wins until someone looses. For us to win they must know they have lost. If you are not playing by the same rules, how can any one win?

Iran is fighting like mad to become a nuclear power. The moment they become a nuclear power, they will perhaps unwittingly level the playing field. They will be playing a game that has rules they cannot deny they break. Iran will know who wins that competition. History will not be able to deny who has won and who has lost. Those aren't stadium lights building over the horizon..

I say to Iran, be careful what game you want to play.
